As we do each spring, we’ll be painting and patching so the place looks sharp on opening day, with a new batch of umbrellas and a number of new tables and chairs.
Swimming lessons will begin during the first week of June and continue throughout the summer. Our one-on-one lessons follow American Red Cross guidelines and are designed for kids of all ages, including toddlers. All instructors are certified by the Red Cross and YMCA in Water Safety Instruction, Lifeguard Training with First-Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Fall and Winter Karate classes take place on Saturday mornings as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the clubhouse. Students learn various karate blocks, kicks, punches, self-defense techniques and light sparring. Kids and adults alike will find this program to be fun and rewarding.
